Suitable foundations are required for all building and civil engineering structures to ensure that they perform within the settlement criteria established in the design of the structure. Special foundations are used where shallow footings do not provide adequate support for a structure.
Such special foundations have been, historically, the core activity of Soletanche Bachy. We have developed, through our Research and Development efforts, many of the procedures and techniques that are in use today throughout the world.
We offer all types of piles, barrettes, diaphragm walls and micropiles, together with soil-mixing processes and ground improvement techniques.
