| Jan 12, 2008 - Soletanche Bachy responsible for the construction of units 5 to 10 at Le Havre Port 2000 |

| | Having handed over units 1 to 4 at the Le Havre Port 2000 (1.6 km of quays) in 2005, Soletanche Bachy is now constructing units 5 to10 (2.1 km of quays). Works commenced in July 2007 and should be completed by July 2010. Two concrete mixing plants have been set up on the site and 2 hydrofraises and 4 hydraulic grab dredges are being used to construct 130,000 m3 of diaphragm walls and 200,000 m2 of slurry walls. The works also include civil engineering (50,000 m3 of structural concrete) together with the dredging and earthworks (10,000,000 m3) involved. Photo credits: Patrice Lefebvre |
