| Feb 2, 2009 - The Geomix will shortly be arriving in Switzerland |

| | Sif Groutbor will be taking part in the Rhone flood defence works in the Valais with a new Geomix project starting up in Switzerland on the 16th February 2009. This process is part of our sustainable development approach, and allows us to construct walls and foundations without concrete and virtually no spoil, using the ground instead as a construction material. For this project, the aim consists in constructing a 12 m deep cut off wall used to protect the Rhone dikes from flooding in the vicinity of the VIEGE town. Scope of work consists in a 47,000m2 Géomix curtain completed by a 3700 m² jet grouted panel wall. All the works are scheduled for completion for the beginning of May before the melting snows. |
